Opposition parties are running Social media campaigns against the release of admit cards for JEE and NEET exams by the Government. Many opposition leaders including the leader of Congress parliamentary party in Loksabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee have written to the PM Modi demanding the postponement of the JEE and NEET exams. Banerjee has written two letters to the prime minister in two days addressing the same issue. Deputy CM & Education Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia asked the central government to either postpone the exams or come up with an apt alternative.

National Investigation Agency filed a charge sheet regarding the brutal Pulwama attack on CRPF jawans on 14 February 2019 in Jammu and Kashmir. 40 CRPF jawans were martyred in this coward act.
